The newly restored Bingham Hall serves as a community recreational center that brings together many people who utilize the facility for various meetings and functions. The Garden Club, Women's Club, Boy Scouts, Senior Citizens Group, as well as other organizations, conduct monthly meetings, recreation organization meetings, fundraisers and other related functions at Bingham Hall. The gardens provide a passive recreational area for individuals who wish to stroll through the grounds or stop and read or socialize while appreciating the beauty of the plantings.

Meadow Ridge is the largest of the Borough parks. Located on Ridge Road it spans 23 acres and has three fields, a small playground and a walking/jogging path. The three fields are used for soccer, baseball and lacrosse. Most of the school teams use these fields as their home field. The path meanders along the edges of the fields and through the woods. Many area residents use the path for their daily exercise.

The outdoor exercise equipment at Meadow Ridge Park is designed to help individuals of all ages and levels of fitness enjoy a healthy lifestyle. The equipment is designed to improve cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles and enhance flexibility and balance.

A variety of equipment is available for individuals who wish to improve their conditioning. The area has elliptical cross trainers, leg press, chest press, lat pull, pull up station and uneven bars. The equipment features using your own body weight for resistance during the exercise routines.

A sign board provides an entry level suggestion for a workout with guidelines. Additional workouts may be downloaded in PDF format.

The Borough officially opened Piping Rock Park in September, following the completion of the major renovation Project. Rumson Recreation’s Kindergarten Soccer Clinic at Martello Field near the expanded parking lot off of East River Road kicked off the fall 2019 season.

The Piping Rock Park project, which began in 2018, includes a reconstructed baseball/softball field featuring the relocated KDM 9/11 Memorial, natural grass, multi-purpose fields, and a new playground area.

Riverside Park is one of the Boroughs busiest parks. Newly renovated in 2005, Riverside Park has two new Baseball fields that can be converted to soccer fields in the fall. There is a new small playground to keep the little ones busy while their siblings play ball. A walkway along the River has also been installed. Riverside Park is located along the river at the end of Riverside Drive and Wardell Avenue off of Rumson Road near the Little Silver border.

Rogers Park is located at the intersections of Church Street, Lafayette Street and Allen Street. A true neighborhood park, Rogers Park has a basketball court and two tennis courts and a playground. It also has a small field used for informal local baseball and football games.

Victory Park is located at the bottom of Lafayette Street off River Road in the heart of town. This waterfront park boasts a new playground, lovingly donated by a borough family. The bandstand was also restored to its former glory by yet another Rumson family. Victory Park also has two tennis courts with lighting, a basketball court with lighting, a bocce court and a lovely gazebo with benches overlooking the Navesink River.

Boat Ramp – The Rumson Boat Ramp is located at the north end of the Avenue of Two Rivers. Both ANNUAL passes and ONE-Time* permits are available for purchase at Borough Hall. Please call 732-842-3300 to obtain current fees.

* Please note that a One-Time permit is NOT a daily permit, but rather for use by anyone who docks their boat at their home or a local marina and needs to put their boat in and take it out once per year. This permit allows one launch and one pull-out only, not in the same day.
